Brand identity is my ride or die. We don’t do ‘just a logo’ around here. Branding is so much more than that - I truly believe that for your brand to thrive, you need a strategically curated design system of a suite of logos, brand elements, a palette, font pairings, art direction, and an epic brand name. The whole shebang.

Packaging

This is where your brand identity comes to life in a tangible way. It’s not so much about slapping your logo on a box, it’s more so about creating an identity that aligns with your branding, that makes your packaging scream from the rooftop – or, scream from the shelf. The end goal here is always to make your brand stand out from the competitors so we can captivate your people.

Print

Literally anything that can be put in the palm of your hand. I’m talking menus, prints, tote bag artwork, merch, document templates, publication design, etc. Or maybe you need a ball pit filled with branded balls? Or a custom-designed hot air balloon? The possibilities are truly endless my friends.

WEB

Do you want to sell products? Do you need to be able to take bookings? Are you selling your own service? My approach to web totally depends on the capabilities your require on your site. One key thing to remember here, for any web project you’ll need all of your copy and imagery ready to go, prior to the site build.

Copy

Ok so, like, I’m not an actual copywriter. If you’re looking for long form by-the-book English, I’m not the gal for you. BUT I do bloody love to have some fun with language and help brands talk a little more spicy, and a little less serious, and I’m pretty good at it if I do say so myself. Think of this more making your key messaging and calls to action wildly more fun, rather than like, actual grammatically correct English.

CoNTENT

I want to help you create the brand identity of your dreams, but I also want it to be easy for you to keep it looking as schmick as ever. Sometimes this means a few IG templates to get you started. Perhaps it’s some custom typography. Or maybe it’s a bunch of branded GIFs for Instagram. Maybe you need some eDM templates. Whatever it is, I got you.

  • My process always varies slightly depending on your individual project and brand needs. No two clients are ever the same. For example, a packaging project will look totally different to a brand identity project.

    I always start off with an initial brand chat over Zoom where we talk through the intricacies of your brand and what your project may require.

    This is also when I talk you through how the process for your particular project might look, as well as your opportunity to ask me all of your questions.

  • As always, every project is totally different. For a brand identity project, this is usually 8–12 weeks, give or take. There are various factors that can shift the timeline such as feedback times and the scope of the project.

    Please keep in mind I’m also working around my other incred clients and their projects - so I can’t always book you in straight away. I’m also typically booked out 4–6 months in advance.

    If your project has a deadline, I always recommend getting in touch as early as possible to avoid missing out.

  • Bloody oath! Thanks to the interweb, I am lucky enough to be able to work with humans and brands all around the world! I frequently work with clients all over Australia, as well as across the globe. And believe it or not I can make the time zones work like a dream.

    Honestly, I get a shock when my clients actually are within VIC. The only thing that makes me sad about my international friends is that we can’t catch up for a coffee or a vino!

  • Every single brand and every single client is so so different. Because of this, I quote my clients based on their individual needs.

    We’ll start off by jumping on a call to chat through all the specifics of what you’re needing. Together we’ll figure out all the deliverables you need for your brand and your business goals.

  • No way.

    Every brand system I create is strategically made, with every design choice made to reflect your brand’s personality and purpose. This includes everything from colour choices and font pairings to stylistic choices such as why we might choose rounded corners over square corners for your brand. This is how we make ripper brands to captivate your target audience and change the game in your industry.

    Even at its bare minimum, a logo needs a supporting colour palette and fonts.

    I’d be doing you dirty if I said ‘just a logo’ is enough for your brand to get by. I want to help you create the brand of your dreams, and create something for you that will be a long-lasting solution to your branding problem. ‘Just a logo’ isn’t enough to do that.

    So, in the nicest way possible, heck no. A brand is so much more than ‘just a logo’.

  • Me, myself and I. I’m a one-woman show! I’ll be working closely with you throughout the whole project and I’ll constantly be in touch to ask for your thoughts and ideas, and to schedule times to chat. It’s a super collaborative process which is the best bit.

    If your project requires a couple more hands on deck such as a super duper sleek photoshoot, or some totally pro copywriting, or some intricate illustrations, I’ve got an awesome network of like-minded creatives on speed-dial.

Kickoff

So we’ve had our initial brand chat, figured out all the requirements and deliverables you need, the initial invoice has been paid and your project is locked in.

This is when we’ll jump on another Zoom call to chat through your brand more in detail, and I’ll ask you a bunch of questions so I can understand the strategic side of things.

Head down, bum up

Once we’ve uncovered your brand strategy, I’ll begin to design your brand in a way that strategically reflects everything we uncovered in our Kickoff Call.

Once I’ve got some concepts ready for you I’ll get in touch to chat you through all of my juicy thoughts and design thinking.

HANDOVER

It’s all over to you!

Once we’ve nailed your brand identity, I’ll shoot through all of your files and everything you need to keep your brand looking as epic as ever!

The process is obviously a lot less linear than this, but you get the picture. This is a tiny snapshot of how a branding project might look, but keep in mind web design projects, packaging design projects, and brand design projects all look totally different.
