OUTCOME: A whole rebrand! This included a brand new logo suite, icon, colour palette, typography, podcast tile, website design, brand collateral, art direction, assets for social, web and eDM assets
Formerly Plant Proof, The Proof is Simon Hill’s newest venture. It was time for Plant Proof to take on some bigger boots, and grow the brand from plant-based focussed content, to now taking a whole-health approach.
The brief for this one was to completely redesign the brand in a way that puts science at the core, yet still having a down-to-earth and non-intimidating feeling. One of the main goals here was to broaden the target audience – we needed to create something that would appeal to both a 25-year-old fitness fanatic, and a retiree. This new brand identity needed to feel both gender and age neutral, and to feel that it’s science-based ‘nerdy’ information made cool. (Simon’s words, not mine). And to be cool enough that you would happily wear it on a tee.

This design system was completely strateigically created, with every single little piece of the puzzle playing its own part in bringing the brand together. As part of this rebrand, we introduced pillars that each and every different podcast episode, guide, post and piece of informative content could fall into. This played part in building our Hex icon, as well as the introduction of six different accent colours that correspond to each pillar. This was a way of categorising and organising Simon’s content in a visual way, making it easy for his audience to engage with the different types of content that align with their interests.
This resulted in a sexy new brand identity with a much more mature look and feel, that opens up a whole new can of (vegan) worms for Simon to tap into.

On The Proof Podcast, Simon has science-based conversations with world-leading experts where they dive deep into the science, but break it down and make the evidence easily digestible for Simon’s listeners, readers and followers.
Simon’s best-selling book, The Proof is in the Plants, goes into the science around the benefits of eating a plant-based diet, and its benefits for humans, animals and the planet.
100% of the proceeds he receives are donated to Half Cut, a not-for-profit organisation who are working to stop deforestation in the Daintree Rainforest in Queensland, Australia.
